Common Hexagram Patterns

Homecoming questions often draw hexagrams about return and cycles. Hexagram 24 (Return) appears when a natural cycle is bringing you back, but with new understanding. Hexagram 56 (The Wanderer) suggests you may not yet be ready to settle. Hexagram 12 (Standstill) warns that the place you're returning to may have stagnated. Hexagram 49 (Revolution) indicates that both you and your hometown have transformed — the return would be to something new.
